We count the peak number of marketing contacts within the month. E.g. You may have an audience of 10,000 contacts but only 1,000 contacts are marked as Marketing Contacts, then we will count 1,000 as used marketing contacts. If you then immediately reduce to 900 contacts as Marketing Contacts, then still 1,000 will be counted as used marketing contacts for the month.
